Just an idea: could a python script on the mobile phone serve as a wap server? That would allow easy migration to something evil like a web wallet

The idea extended to have a normal webserver serving http/html, and then use the browser on the device. Sounds good, and would be highly portable to other platforms. On Nokia mobile phones however:

When you connect to localhost the device still wants to connect to the internet. Which is a bug, but not fixed for anything other then the newest devices.

This sucks.
